BESL entered into a long terms agreement with M/s. Cochin Shipyard
Limited (CSL), Cochin, setting up an ANCILLARY UNIT near Cochin
Shipyard. The unit is expected to fabricate 200 – 400 Tons per month
of marine structures in Cochin Shipyard. This is an ambitious project to
take advantage of technical expertise of the company and enter into a major ship building
industry on a long term basis. Our ultimate goal is to develop a full fledged ship building yard
independently in the country.
  
Fabrication:
Company is now in the process of carrying out fabrication of blocks for the Platform Supply Vessels (PSV), Bulk Carrier, Air Craft Defense Ship and various other structures. Ancillary Unit is adopting modern welding methodology, high-skilled manpower etc. Ancillary Unit is equipped with adequate equipments, machinery, welding equipments, tools & tackles and other facilities, which are required to effectively carry out the fabrication facility for any indigenous type of marine structures. We have qualified engineers, technical supervisory staff, skilled and semi-skilled technicians. We are in the capability of delivering various marine structures of a fast track modern system.
Our strength in Block building:

High quality blocks of 50 Tons capacity under skid fabrication with minimum of distortion etc. under world class technology, MIG & SAW welding.
