BESL had undertaken the fabrication and erection works of Wellhead Platforms, Jack up Rig leg structures, including racks, cantilever and rill floor area of the Jack up Rigs, fabrication of piles and other miscellaneous offshore structures in the Mazagon Dock Ltd. (MDL), Mangalore, Hindustan Shipyard Ltd. (HSL), Visakhapatnam and Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (L&T), Surat.

The company achieved good expertise in this field having exposure of all kinds of offshore structures in which Engineers India Ltd. (EIL), American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Indian Register of Shipping (IRS), Lloyds Register of Shipping (LRS), Valdel were the prime consultants.

The Company had deployed number of specialized equipment, high/semi/unskilled manpower, tools & tackles 75 to 100 Tons capacity cranes etc. for undertaking such heavy and precision rigging operation. Most of the materials procured from Germany, Japan and France as per the specification, conforming to the methodology and International norms. With the fabrication and erection of offshore structures, BESL had also undertaken the works of outfitting, process piping, electrical and instrumentation works connected with the offshore works.

Fabrication of off-shore platform structures in Mangalore Yard under Mazagon Dock Limited. It included the fabrication and assembly of Three Main Decks, One Helideck, Two Jackets, 1200 MT of Piles etc., and other miscellaneous jobs totaling to around 6500 MT. Also undertook the fabrication and erection of process piping and instrumentation works, equipment erection for 2 Main Decks and Helidecks. All the works carried out at Mangalore Yard had undergone stringent quality control with 100% NDT requirements, under the inspection of Engineers India Limited/American Bureau of Shipping.

Fabrication and erection of Jack up Rig 770 in Mangalore Yard under Mazagon Dock Limited, including drill floor, spud can, hull and leg wells having total weight of 1000 MT. The legs erected and welded in segments up to a height of 130 M and each leg weighed around 70 MT.

Fabrication and erection works of Spud Can and Leg Well area of the Port and Star Board sides of Jack up Rig II 'Sagar Uday'. Fabrication and erection works of Cantilever and Drill Floor area for the same Rig at Mangalore Yard for Mazagon Dock Limited.

BESL undertaken fabrication, assembly and load out of IL Jacket for Hindustan Shipyard Limited, Visakhapatnam, weighing around 1900 MT and height of the structure was 30 M.

The company took up fabrication, assembly and load out of Jacket BH-22 weighing 1400 MT for Hindustan Shipyard Limited, Visakhapatnam. The fabrication and assembly of this Jacket was completed in an all Asian Record Time of 117 days.

The company took up fabrication and assembly of Deck and Helideck for BH-22 Platform including all outfitting works for Hindustan Shipyard Limited, Visakhapatnam. The work included the rectification of damaged BH-22/BH-25 Decks, IUG systems, Ship repair works on INS Sandhayak, fabrication of spools for BHN-ICG related modification works etc., for ONGC. 

BESL undertaken outfitting of Panna Deck for Hindustan Shipyard Limited, Visakhapatnam. This includes piping 14000" dia of CS NACE INCALLOY Electrical Instrumentation and equipment erection works.

BESL took up fabrication, assembly, erection, NDT clearance, testing of structurals/conductors, conductor guide frames, mud mat etc. for N9 Jacket (1843MT) for ONGC under the sub contract with L&T, Hazira, Surat

The company carried out fabrication, assembly and erection of PS2Q offshore living quarters (670MT) for Qatar Petroleum under the sub contract with L&T, Hazira, Surat.

The company undertaken fabrication, assembly & erection and piping fabrication & erection of RS-05 Deck under the sub contract with L&T, Hazira, Surat
